In February 2017, a number of our distributors qualified for the Top Achievers Club (TAC). Their hard work and dedication paid off – And they were rewarded with the vacation of a lifetime in beautiful Punta Cana.
Our Be The Change Foundation is committed to organizing service projects to benefit local communities, no matter where Youngevity’s events are held. Our generous distributors volunteered their time and collaborated with the foundation’s founders, Dave and Sunshine Briskie, to create backpacks filled with school supplies and personal hygiene products. These backpacks were distributed to the children of migrant workers and to children attending a school in Santiago, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic.
Many distributors brought an incredible amount of hygiene products with them to the Dominican Republic, in answer to a call to action by distributors Mike and Kate Battistelli. Some even packed their suitcases full of these items and put their clothes for the week in their carry on bags. These items were then distributed to several local orphanages. Actions like these are part of what make our distributors so special.
Our community outreach effort in the Dominican Republic has helped to enrich so many lives. Thank you to everyone who participated!
As usual with our outreach events, most of the people doing the “giving” receive as much in return as the recipients. There’s just nothing like the feeling of making a difference in someone’s life, or even just making connections to people and places both close to home and around the world.
